A couple years ago this tree in our back yard was hit by lightning. It is still alive, but it has a hole that goes from the top to the very bottom of the tree. There are some dead branches, but not . . .

While I was out walking in our woods, I took some pictures of some "different" looking things. The bark on this one tree is very smooth. then I found a tree down that had some strange growth . . .

The grandkids found this sign and we put it on our fence at the front by the gate. They have always called us Nana & Papa so this worked out real good e.

My grandson was 11 on the 27th so his mom and dad had a party for him today. It was mostly our family, and one of Cody's friends. They had one of those string fights, the canned stuff that comes out . . .

my daughter brought her grandbaby, my great granddaughter, Abigail to the birthday party. Abigail has a lot of fun cause she is the one in the limelight all the time.

we left my sons' house this afternoon and the dark clouds were rollling in and here came the rain. WE DON"T NEED ANYMORE RIGHT NOW!!

I keep looking out the window watching the rain fall. I saw 2 doves outside trying to find some seeds on the ground. It was pouring down rain at the time. Poor babie s.
